Visit La Palma Island
The Caldera de Taburiente National Park has a huge crater-shaped formation and is covered in pine forest and cut by waterfalls. You can take the road of LP4 up to the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory, on the rim of the Taburiente National Park. It reaches 2396 metres above sea level in the municipality of Garafía (La Palma) stands one of the largest arrays of telescopes in the world.
If you visit at night you will see more stars in the sky than the black. You are above the clouds and the night sky is so clear you can even catch a shooting star.
